Victoria’s Secret Lash Dare 3 In One Mascara Review ♥

Hello All! ♥

lashdare

Today, I wanted to tell you about my experience with this 3 in one mascara from Victoria’s Secret!
Normally, I am a cult follower of CoverGirl Lash Blast and Victoria’s Secret Voluptuous Mascara, but this particular mascara was on sale so I decided to give it a go.
After all, I keep mascara in a few hundred couple places such as, my house (duh), my purse, my car’s glove department, pool bag, gym bag, and my office…

judgementDon’t think I can’t see your judging me!  You don’t even want to know how many lip glosses I have lying around!

Whatever, better safe than sorry!

I trust Victoria’s Secret to make a quality product, after all they are one of my top three favorite retail stores! However, I was just a little disappointed with this product. I must say, the reviews I read about this seemed promising, and it certainly has its benefits. Sad to say, it did not met my needs when it came to voluminous lashes.  On the bright side, it lengthens really well and it looks very natural! Sorry there is no photo of me wearing it for reference. The mascara did not look super exciting since it looks very natural, so I opted out. If you do want a more subtle lash definer this mascara is for you! I personally like to add a little definition to my eyes when I go to the gym or take the dog for a stroll. This will be a great beauty enhancer without looking too made up for those casual occurrences.  I have layered this mascara under the more volumizing CoverGirl mascara and it looks great!  If you like a more subtle, no-makeup, makeup look then this mascara is for you! The deep black is great and it does a very good job coating and separating while adding length. If you are like me and prefer lots of volume for your every day look, try it out for a very subtle eye definition while at the beach or the gym.  While strolling around with my dog, I wore this with a little bronzer and some pinky-peach gloss. Natural, but polished!

Stay gorgeous!

E.L.F Mineral Infused Face Primer Review♥

01932203af01befcce4be92ba5339c51

So sorry it has been  an eternity so long since I have had a new post! Did you miss me?! I have been very occupied with wonderful vacations and working at my brand new job!

However, I’m here with something new to share! *throws confetti* *dances*

ELF mineral primer

I have been using VS Airbrush FX Perfecting Primer (with SPF 20) for about a year or so and I love it! Its $18 at Victoria’s Secret and even though that is a very fair and reasonable price, this primer is only $6 and almost feels like the exact same thing! I am no stranger to the E.L.F products, they are a fantastic brand with quality products that anyone can afford even if you are a broke collage student  a homeless person on a shoe string budget! Most of their brushes are only $1 and most eye shadows will only set you back $3 or less. Great for when you want to try something new, but don’t want to sink $20 at Sephora when you don’t even know if you will like the outcome. So during one of my weekly trips to Target, I wandered into the alluring lair of the makeup isle (even though I only went there to pick up spaghetti sauce, I can’t resist)! I had been hearing about how amazing this primer was, and even though I was feeling just a little skeptical,(I mean $6? Really?) I decided I would give it a shot.  My hand to God, this stuff is better than most primers I have ever used, (Victoria’s Secret, calm down, I still love you). Seriously, all you need is a very, VERY tiny amount for complete coverage. It is a non-greasy, silky, gel-like consistency. I love how it makes my mineral foundation glide on with ease and it makes your makeup look fresh all day. I mean it when I say all day, not just until lunch, not just before cocktails, I mean 24 hours, all day. I have read some reviews saying that if you have skin that is more on the oily side, you may want to skip it. I personally have dry to normal skin, and have had zero problems. If I were you, I would try it anyway, everyone’s skin is complex and different and you never know until you try!  The only real con is that there is no SPF, so remember to wear some moisturizer with added sun protection under your makeup to protect your delicate skin! With that being said, run to Target, or click http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ and get yourself some of this stuff of legends magical primer!

Cheers!
